Chances are you’ve never heard this record before. One of my favorite Jay-Z x Just Blaze collaborative records ever, “Addicted To The Game”, was recorded and intended for “The Blueprint” album. For some reason, this song never made it to the final pressing when “The Blueprint” album was completed.
This is the unreleased “Dirty Mix” in CDQ from the rare Promotional Vinyl that was distributed in small amounts back in 2001. Here you have Hov rapping in maybe his most insightful manner on record, combined with Just Blaze’s “Jacksons’ sampled” smooth production. You’re welcome.
