You’re welcome. I get so sad when I recall the time that mainstream hip-hop was this awesome in the 80’s. If I was born 20 years early, this would have probably been on my cassette mixtape. A hilarious song about tryin’ to get it on with fly honeys that end up dissin’ you? It’s a no brainer that this song was in the top 10 in ‘89.

“Hey Ladies” is from The Beastie Boys’ album “Paul’s Boutique”. It was the album’s only charting single, hitting #36 on the Billboard Hot 100. It is also the first single in history to chart in the Top 20 of both the Billboard Hot Rap Singles and Modern Rock Tracks charts, hitting #10 on the former and #18 on the latter.
