A few people I know will agree with me that most Top 40 songs sounds too similar, but in some cases i’ve argued that songs sound IDENTICAL to one another. I’m sure you’ve heard Kesha’s “Tik Tok” or Katy Perry’s “California Gurls,” over and over again on the radio, but I wasn’t alone in noticing, like DJ Placeboing, that the two songs sound exactly alike. After all, the same producer (Dr. Luke) was behind both records..
