WAYYYYY BEFORE DIPSET, In 1999, Mase presented his new group, Harlem World which consisted of six members: Mase’s sister Baby Stase, Blinky Blink, Cardan, Huddy, Meeno and a then unknown Loon. They released their first and only album, “The Movement” which would make it to #11 on the Billboard 200 and be certified gold the following month. Mannnn, I remember when this came out in 1999 and NO RECORD STORE HAD THIS ALBUM IN STOCK lol.. but everyone who had BET thought this song was DOPE that whole summer. Unfortunately, every other song on the album was terrible to me! So terrible I remember vividly throwing the yellow case in the trash after recording my only favorite song up there on cassette to play in my Walkman. That song I saved is below!
