My favorite memory from the the time this song came out was walking up to girls in junior high going.. “Well I can’t understand a word you’re sayinnnnnnn” lol..

Err, I couldn’t find a picture of Magoo from this century so this will suffice lol.. (Some of ya’ll are like who the eff is Magoo?! haaa). Well for those of you that don’t know, **Timbaland ** joined Magoo and together the rap-duo released their debut album “Welcome to Our World” which sold over 1 million copies and went platinum in 1999.

In 2003, they released their third album “Under Construction, Part II” which featured the Bollywood infused track “Indian Flute”. This was one of the first hip-hop tracks that Timbaland used to merge Bollywood music into mainstream Pop music. And no one can front, this track was very successful in doing so.

The song “Indian Flute” contains an uncredited sample of “Curura” by Toto la Momposina. But i’m sure thats not surprising to some especially knowing that TImbaland has been under some scrutiny recently for not clearing samples.. but ehh whatever lol. Listen!
