Drake Announces “Thank Me Later” Official Release Date

Just got an Official Date for Drake’s “Thank Me Later” album release! Let’s just hope the date sticks.

“Dropping So Far Gone back in 2009, the momentum behind Canadian rapper Drake has been one that hasn’t been seen in quite some time for a rapper. With his name on almost everyone else’s tacks, the buzz has created expectations that some are beginning to believe that the young rapper can live up to along with wondering when the rapper will stop being just featured and take the driver’s seat. Great News! But does anyone think his buzz has died down even a little bit?

Compared to his initial buzz with songs like “Get Over It”, “Ransom”, “Congratulations” and then the So Far Gone singles like “Successful”, “Fear”, etc.. and even with unreleased tracks that blew up the net like “The Winner” & “Juice”..

His newer official singles seem to have strayed away from his original flow that attracted us. #nohate though.

I don’t know if his latest single, “Over” moved me as much as his previous mixtape efforts. I just hope that “Over” ends up being the weakest track on the album. I also hope that Drake switches up his new flow for his old that we first knew back a couple years ago! I am still bumping “Comeback Season”, “So Far Gone”, and both “Heartbreak Drake” mixtapes because so far I think those were his best efforts! Drake has had such promise with Comeback Season & So Far Gone.

I just really hope in the end we can “Thank Him Later”.. till May 25th (hopefully lol).
